Picket Fence Studios October Release

Can you believe we are almost half way through October? WOW! But first we have to celebrate the newest release from Picket Fence Studios. And it is a great one - full of diverse stamps, dies and stencils.

Today I wanted to share two cards from the new release featuring two of the three new leaf dies. First of all is the Ash Leaves Die set.

I pulled out some watercolor paper and smooshed some Distress inks onto a large sheet. I added water periodically to get various shades of each color. Once dry, I cut out as many leaves as I could - both large and small. I arranged them on my slim line card along with a frame cut from the same paper. I added sequins and my sentiment to finish my card.

 

Here is my second card -very different and very shiny:

I used the new Maple Leaves dies.

 

I covered a sheet of toner paper with silver foil and ran it through my Minc. The shine on these leaves is just so pretty! I decided to form a wreath with these leaves and I love how it turned out. I added my sentiment and a few sequins to finish up my card. These foiled leaves would be beautiful on home decor items too. I am going to add some to a few of my pumpkins!
