Flowers and dots - I think they are my new go to design. I've been intrigued by cards made recently by Yana Smakula. She is keen on no blending Copic coloring and also coloring in backgrounds. I thought I would combine both with today's card. Be sure to check out Yana's blog too. She is such a talented card maker!

I used the Spring Flowers background stamp from Simon Says Stamp with Memento black ink so I could color with Copic markers. I colored each flower portion without any blending. I did the same for the berries and the leaves. What a freeing experience! These are the colors I used: BG57, BG15, BG23, BG11, BG000, YG00, YG23, R35, RV14, R43, RV21, Y15 and G03. Then I filled in the background using RV10. This light pink is so perfect for backgrounds.

I added the So Very Happy for You sentiment from the Happy Days stamp set, also from Simon Says Stamp. To finish my card I added black dots to the flowers and the background. If you feel like shopping, be sure to check out the products I used below.
