Happy Monday!

It's no secret that slimline cards are all the rage right now. So it's no surprise I wanted to share with you one I made using the Slimline Floral Stencil and an older image that I adore. The girl with the camera is Beautiful Girl Karen. I loved coloring her with Copic markers. They are my most used media.

 

Take a look at the Slimline Floral Stencil and then I'll share with you how I created this fun background:

 

First I ink blended my background with a rainbow of bright colors. I used Distress Oxides this time. Then I laid the stencil over the ink blending and used Picket Fence Studios Black Hybrid Ink over the stencil. I wanted the black to be VERY dark, so I added a second coat. I let this background dry overnight as the Oxides need that time. The next day I came back and added my image and my sentiment. Oh - and I ink blended a little bit behind Karen.
