Eat Cake and Celebrate
Happy Thursday!
I've had a few things out on my table lately and one of them was a pile of Distress Inks. What better way to put them to use than to make a rainbow grid?
I heat embossed the Taylored Expressions Grid Background stamped image and then just took all of the Distress Ink colors on my desk and smooshed them onto a slick service and added various amounts of water to each little spot of ink. Then I used my water brush and filled in the grid. Easy peasy!! I had already planned to cut it down and center it on my card base.
The rest was simple - I stamped and die cut Gus and Gerty and Copic colored them. Then I added one of my home made rainbow Simple Strips. I thought I was completely done, but then I realized this celebration called for some stars and clear sequins from my stash. THEN I was done!
Have a really great day and I'll see you again tomorrow!
Susie
