Broken Crayons Still Color

Happy Monday!

Just sharing a card with the new Lexi Girl from Picket Fence Studios. I am not an expert colorist, so when an image has great shadow lines built in, it makes it so much easier for me to get it right.

And what is that background you ask? It is the Round and Round We Go stamp also from Picket Fence Studios. I black heat embossed it and then colored right over the lines with my Karin Brush Marker Pro basic colors. So easy to get this affect! And the sentiment is from the Broken Crayons stamp set. Lexi looks sad and broken today...so I thought this was the perfect sentiment.
