Happy Thursday!
Welcome to day #1 of the Pretty Pink Posh August Release Blog Hop. This release went live on the 20th and hopefully you have snagged some of your favorites already! For the next two days design team members and guest bloggers (like me) will be sharing some of our favorites from this release.
Are there prizes? You bet! Be sure to leave comments on each stop. Paulina is giving away four $25 gift certificates to four random folks (2 winners each day) posting their comments before August 28, 2019 at 11:59 pm PST. Winners will be announced on the Pretty Pink Posh blog, so be sure to check next week and see if you are one of the lucky winners!
Below I have close ups of four cards that are making me want
to get my fall craft plans in motion!
to get my fall craft plans in motion!
This one uses the Fall Borders Stamp Set as well as the Fall Signs stamps and dies. I used a bit of ink blending behind my scarecrow and Copic markers to color in all my images. I added some beautiful 4mm Pumpkin Sequins to finish my card.
This card was fun to assemble. I used the Fall Border stamp set again, but stamped it repeatedly to make a full background which I then colored. I cut out the center rectangle so I could ink blend a background and then added the Spooky Fence. I didn't want it to look too spooky, so I kept it white. It needed a frame so I grabbed some brown card stock for the win. I splattered some white paint on the background and then added some 3mm Sparkling Clear Sequins. I couldn't resist the cornucopia from the Fall Signs stamp and die set, so Copic markers made quick work of it for me.
I think this is my favorite card. I masked off square sections of my card base and then ink blended each one. I LOVED doing this. I stacked up 3 layers of the Boo die cuts and then added the fourth one which I had black heat embossed and colored with Copic markers. A sentiment from the Boo stamp set and a few 4mm Pumpkin sequins and this card was good to go!
My final card is almost one layer. I stamped all the little signs from the Fall Signs stamp set onto the smaller panel. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut masks for all of them. After that step, I just ink blended the panel and added splatters of black ink and 4mm Pumpkin Sequins. The best part of course is the reveal. I cut a panel of fun foam and raised up the entire small panel onto a card base of kraft card stock. Easy peasy. Pumpkin squeezy? hmmm...
