Happy Thursday!
And when I say happy Thursday, I mean times 3!! Yes, it's a Trifecta Blog Hop starring Gina K. Designs, My Sweet Petunia and Picket Fence Studios! You probably arrived here from Donna Idlet's beautiful blog. And toward the end I will direct you to your next stop.
I am so honored to stand among these very talented and beautiful designers today. We will be showing you the magic of the Picket Fence Life Changing Brushes, the beauty of Gina K. Designs stamps and dies as well as the pure genius of the MISTI and the Cut-Align from My Sweet Petunia.
Each of my cards feature products from all three companies. Here is my first card:
First let me say that without the MISTI I don't even know if I would still be stamping. My Sweet Petunia knocked it out of the park with this tool.
I was able to lightly stamp my butterfly and then color it. And because I left my stamp in the MISTI, I could place my paper right back in and stamp it again with pigment ink and then heat emboss it. I couldn't do that with a stamp block!! And speaking of the butterfly, she is from the newest Gina K. Designs kit, Elegant Asters. It is a beautiful kit with gorgeous images and large sentiments. The background? I used the Picket Fence Studios Fish Scales stencil with Gina K. Designs inks. I think the magic of the Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Brushes is apparent on this card. The blending (and the clean up!) is just plain amazing. I want to blend everything now that I have these brushes! I didn't know I needed them and now I don't want to be without them!
My next card is a fun take on a "from all of us" type card:
Once again I used the Life Changing Brushes with Gina K. Designs inks. The blending was so easy! I used the Picket Fence Studios Ocean of Fish and the Waffle Squares stencils for this three layer card. Of course I used my MISTI for the sentiment but I also used the new My Sweet Petunia Cut-Align to make sure it was cut evenly. This is another must-have tool. It is a game changer!
My next two cards were done using a technique I am currently loving:
Using my MISTI, I stamped all of the images and then heat embossed them. Next I cut masks using the dies for each of the images which are all from the Gina K. Designs Elegant Asters kit. Once everything was masked, I used the Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Brushes with Gina K. Designs inks and blended away. I just love how the inks blend with both light and dark color palettes. The best part is removing the masks to reveal a gorgeous one layered card that looks like more.
Your next stop on the hop is Ceal Pritchett. I can hardly wait for you to click over to see her amazing art. If you get lost along the way, you can always find the entire blog hop list at Gina K. Designs, My Sweet Petunia or Picket Fence Studios.
Be sure to leave comments along the way as each of the three companies will be giving away a $50 gift card to their online stores. The winners will be randomly chosen from all of the comments. Be sure to leave as many as you can to enhance your chance of winning!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I am thankful that you chose to spend a bit of time with me today. I post a new project every single day, so come back any time for a visit.
See you again tomorrow!
Susie
