Did you pop over from the Ellen Hutson Blog? I am glad you are here and I'm excited today to be guest designing for the Ellen Hutson June Color Trend Challenge.
This is a new inspiration challenge based on the current color trend of the month. Each month, there will be a gorgeous mood/inspiration board to inspire you. Here is the current board:
I love making shaker cards, so I decided to die cut some of the words into my card and fill each with beautiful sequins. I also die cut the word BIG into the card and then filled in the space with the same letters ink blended with Altenew Forest Glades ink. Because the surface was flat, I was able to stamp over it which I think added some extra fun texture. I used the same ink to color the green frame that surrounds my focal point. I love doing this when I need just the right color!
I filled each word with sequins and purposely used enough so that the sequins would FILL the space rather than shake. Just something different!
These are the products I used for today's project:
Have a terrific day and I'll be right back here tomorrow! See you then!
