Hello Saturday Friends!
Just stopping by to share another background stamp made into a super easy card. I selected only part of the design for coloring. I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens in about six colors and didn't even add any shading. The sparkle really sets it apart!
I added two narrow strips of black card stock to further define the colored area and then my birthday sentiment popped up with foam tape.
Lately I've been trying to make 3-5 cards from the same stamp set as soon as I open the packaging. Only then does it get filed in with all of my other stamps. Sometimes the set has to sit in the pending place for a bit, but eventually I am able to meet this goal of actually USING my stamps and not forgetting about them. So far this plan is working for me!
So tomorrow I'll show you another quick card using this same principle of selective coloring on this image. But the card will look very different.
