Happy Thursday!
I am still loving all the color variations I can get using the Concord and 9th Blooms Fill-In stamp set. I wanted to see if I could get a solid black background and indeed I could. I stamped the background using my Misti, but then I also rubbed the back of the stamp down onto the paper using moderate pressure. I did this twice and my background turned out perfectly.
This card is for a baby gift, so I used some lovely pink and green to accent my background. I used a stamp and die set called Banner Greetings from MFT Stamps for my sentiment. This set is actually retired but I was able to find the die on another website and linked it above.
I am pretty sure you'll be seeing some more backgrounds in spring colors very soon, so stay tuned!
