Happy Anniversary
Hello Sunday Friends!
I've been stamping and cutting butterflies!! I have a small army of them right now sitting on my desk. Once I started, I just didn't want to stop. These are the Beautiful Butterflies from MFT Stamps.
Each butterfly has three layers and they are easy to line up. I've been looking on Pinterest and I've seen some super fun ways to use these stamps, so stay tuned and we will see if I can replicate what I've been seeing!
Have a really great Sunday and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Thanks for your Hospitality
Hello Friday Friends!
Yesterday I shared a card using a sentiment from the new Gina K. Designs stamp set, Cottage Garden. It was designed by the lovely Claire Brennan who resides in Ireland. This set makes me think of her homeland - especially this cottage. Take a look:
My card is simple today, but I think it is just a perfect thank you card for a stay with a friend. Tomorrow I am going to share one more card from this glorious stamp set!
Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Color Throwdown #440 - Sending Happy Thoughts
Hello Thursday Friends!
Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. And here is the inspiration photo:
I used products from the newest Gina K. Designs release. For my background I white heat embossed one of the flowers from the Stately Flowers 11 stamp set. I also heat embossed the butterfly onto some vellum so I could attach him separately. I ink blended the background using Gina K. Design inks. Then I added a bit of black splatter and a few sequins. I added my sentiment which is from the Cottage Garden set to finish my card.

Inspired by all the Little Things - Sparkle On
Happy Wednesday!
This week at Inspired by all the Little Things, they have a very sweet and girly graphic for their 53rd challenge. Take a look:
For the focal point of my card, I die cut the bow and frame from white and colored it using Copic markers. I stacked it three high for dimension. Then I created my shaker card. I love that little bow on this card. I think it is so very feminine!
I hope you have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Tag You're It Challenge #70 - It's Your Birthday...
Hello Monday Friends!
Here is my tag for the current Tag You're It challenge. Look at this adorable inspiration graphic:
I had so much fun creating my little tag. I rarely build scenes on my tags or cards, so this was a fun challenge! I used the Simon Says Stamp Dot Scallop Border Die to make my hilly border. All other products are from MFT Stamps. I used scraps exclusively to make my tag. I think that's half the fun!
Have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Thank You
Happy Sunday!
I've had this beautiful stamp from Mama Elephant for nearly a year and yet, I've only used it once. I really struggled with it because it seemed so big - yet not big enough to fill the entire A2 card.
Then yesterday, I was stamping and die cutting some of these sweet tulips from Reverse Confetti and all of a sudden, the light bulb turned on.
Just like magic, a match was born! I love the simplicity of this one. I need to send it in the mail tomorrow so I will miss looking at it!!
Have a lovely Sunday and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #3 - Congratulations
Happy Saturday!
Today I'm sending my card over to the third challenge at Lawn Fawnatics. Here is the current graphic:
The challenge this time is called Outstanding Occasions. I used images from the Lawn Fawn Happy Wedding stamp set. I also used the coordinating dies. I did a bit of quick Copic coloring to make my sweet little images even sweeter and added a few gems to finish my card. This set is precious and I think it needs more ink time!
Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow.

Color Throwdown #439 - Thank You
Hello Friday Friends!
Here is my card for this week's Color Throwdown challenge. And here is the inspiration photo:
Although I love these bright colors, I really had to stretch to use them this time. I used one of the butterflies from the new MFT Stamps Beautiful Butterflies stamp set. There are actually three layers for this butterfly, but I just used two on three of them. The yellow one that is popped up has all three layers.

The lavenders and pinks just seemed so feminine to me, so I picked up the Spa Day, Mirror Mirror and Make it Beautiful stamps and dies by Brandi Kincaid.
I had to do just a little bit of masking to stamp my two gals the way I envisioned them looking into the mirror. I used Copic markers to color them in as well as to form the background. Then I stamped, colored, and die cut the mirror frame. To make the little bulbs look realistic, I added some Nuvo Jewel Drops to them.
I finished up the card with the sentiment and added great hopes that you would enjoy seeing it!
If you are inspired by my card or the Pinterest board, be sure to play along. You might just be the randomly selected participant who receives a $50 gift certificate to the Ellen Hutson store. Come on now - you can't beat that!
To be eligible, you MUST use Essentials by Ellen products and the current Pinterest board as inspiration. Then you can link up your creation using the inlinkz button on the challenge post.
Have a terrific Thursday and I'll see you again tomorrow!

Curtain Call Challenge - Just a Note
Happy Wednesday!
Here is my card to share over at the Curtain Call Challenge today. This time the challenge theme is TULIPS.
I took this challenge literally and added a bouquet of tulips to my card. But you could be inspired by the colors or the entire scene. My tulips are from a Reverse Confetti set called Blooms 'n Buds. It is filled with different whimsical flowers and I love using it!
This is such a fun challenge and the team members are all so talented! Be sure to take a look at the beautiful inspiration they have shared with us this week.

I hope you have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Hello Saturday Friends!
Here is my tag for the current Tag You're It challenge. Look at this sweet graphic:
To make my tag, I used scraps of this and that from my work area. I had already colored that pretty rose, so it was an easy addition!! I love making pompoms and this one was perfect on top of my tag.

Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #2- Today the World Revolves Around You
Happy Friday!
Today I'm sending my card over to the second challenge at Lawn Fawnatics. Here is the current graphic:
The challenge this time is to make an interactive card. I made a shaker card using the Out of This World stamp set. My astronaut is a sweet little girl, so I used a feminine sequin mix from Simon Says Stamp inside my shaker. Gotta love those pretty little sequins!
Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow.

Inspired by all the Little Things #51 - Hey Chickie
Happy Thursday!
This week at Inspired by all the Little Things, they have the cutest graphic for their 51st challenge. Take a look:
I made today's card for grandchild #12 - Illy. She is a little over three months old already and I just adore her.
One of the great things about having a Silhouette Cameo is the ability to scan in stamped images and then to group them together, enlarge them, or reduce them. I grouped the little chick and egg together and then made a cut file for it. Once my combined image was cut out, I used Copic markers to color it in. I love making unique images this way.
In case you were wondering, I did make cards for all the grandchildren. These four cards represent the rest of them and are off in the mail already:
I hope you have a great day and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop – Day 3
Happy Wednesday!
The Cast and Crew for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to the final day of our April blog hop celebrating the new stamp sets by Gina K. and the illustrator team from Gina K. Designs! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each designer’s blog.
Today we are featuring our newest mini-kit called My Anchor:
Can you believe all of the items that are packed into this mini kit? You could be stamping for weeks! If you just need the stamp set though, you can also purchase it in the Gina K. Designs store.
For my first card (pictured above) I used the charcoal brown card stock from the kit for my card base. I scored it every 1/2" for some textural interest. Then I stamped the anchor onto a white die cut which was made using the new Stately Flowers 11 set. I finished my card using the anchor sentiment which is white heat embossed onto the same card stock as the base.
Next is my card using the outdoor scene stamped in Dark Sage ink.
There are just so many possibilities with this set! How often do you find a set with four perfect masculine images and sentiments? Just sayin'!
Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20 Gina K. Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.
Ready for more awesome creations?
Don’t forget to pop over to the Gina K. Designs store to check out all of the new products available this month in the What’s New section.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop – Day 2
Hello Tuesday Friends!
The Cast and Crew for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to day two of our April blog hop celebrating the new stamp sets by Gina K. and the illustrator team from Gina K. Designs! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs. Today we are featuring the lovely new stamp sets by Beth Silaika, Claire Brennan and our newest incentive set, Botanical Blocks..
Here is a look at all three sets:
For my first card (pictured above) I used the adorable Vicky Mermaid set designed by Beth Silaika. I love cards with lots of white space, so I took a graphic approach using three images and one sentiment. I only used four bright colors and one neutral color in my design to keep that graphic and clean feel.
I used the smallest images in this set to make my card panel. I repeatedly stamped two different birds from the set and colored them to match my card stock. Then I made a panel to go on top with that sweet little birdie holding a thank you card. Sometimes I overlook the smallest images in a set - but not this time. I love those little birdies!
Finally, here is a small card set using our newest incentive set, Botanical Blocks:
Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20 Gina K. Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Blog Hop – Day 1
Happy Monday!
The Cast and Crew for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new stamp sets by Gina K. and the illustrator team from Gina K. Designs! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs. Today we are featuring the lovely new stamp sets by Melanie Muenchinger and Theresa Momber.
Here are the two stamp sets, which I know you will love!
For my card (pictured above) using Melanie's newest stamp set, Stately Flowers 11, I used the Indian Paintbrush stamp to ink around a masked circle. Then I added an ink blended frame to encircle my sentiment (from the newest incentive set). I popped up my panel onto a white card stock base to give the card lots of dimension.
Now here is my card using Theresa's newest set, Daisy Delight:
I'm not sure if you can tell, but I used black foil on one of Gina's new Foil-Mates to create my background. Then I stamped the sweet daisy cluster and colored it in with Copic markers. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops to the flower centers. Finally, I die cut the mat and daisy panel and applied them to my card base using some foam tape for dimension.
So that's it for me for today, but before I go, I want you to welcome Juliana Michaels to the Cast and Crew for Gina K. Designs. Juliana has been a project designer in the paper craft/scrapbook industry since 2007 and has worked for many top manufacturers in the craft world. Her projects have been published in a variety of magazines and idea books. You will instantly fall in love with her projects!

Thank You
Happy Sunday!
Sometimes I like to leave little bits of this and that in a bowl on my work table. Then I will arrange some of them and then rearrange them. Finally, I'll decide that I have enough to make a card. That's what happened here.
So with scraps of projects gone by....this is what I got!
Enjoy and I'll see you again tomorrow.

Happy Easter
Hello Saturday Friends!
In case you are looking for a quick and easily reproducible Easter card, here is one I put together that could fit the bill.
Everything here is a rectangle with the final one housing the image and greeting. The twine bow breaks up the linear look. You could do this with most any stamp and patterned papers. I used all Gina K. Designs products for mine.
Have a terrific day and I'll see you again tomorrow.
Susie
