MFT Stamps 2016 Design Superstar Contest - Entry #2 - Our Thoughts & Prayers are with You

Hello Tuesday Friends!

Here is my second entry for the 2016 Card Design Superstar Contest over at MFT Stamps. The folks at My Favorite Things are giving away ten $250 gift certificates and naming 10 Card Design Superstars.  And I want to be one of them!!

For my leaf images I used the Geometric Greenery stamp set.  I don't have the die set, so I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the images before giving them just a little color with my Copic markers.

For my sentiment I used the Clearly Sentimental about Sympathy stamp set. I applied gold embossing powder over Versamark ink for a softer look.  This is a must have stamp set.  The phrases and fonts are beautiful:

For my white panel (popped up on foam) I used the large stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 13 die set:

 
This was an easy card to assemble.  I guess my style is clean and simple and I'm good with that!  I will be entering another card before the deadline.  Tune in tomorrow to see my final card!
