My Current Favorite Vignette

Hello Monday Friends!

I put off getting a post ready for today, knowing I could whip up something lovely and move forward to tomorrow's post (which is already done).

But life has a way of waking you up in the middle of the night (4 times) just so you have no doubt that you have some sort of bug. It was a pretty Hellish night for both of us because I can't throw up alone.  By morning my sweetie was sick too.  We have found each other in various places in the house today - just sitting there - because we just couldn't make it to where we were going.  Hoping this passes soon.

So I took a picture of my current favorite vignette which resides on a breakfront in my entry way.  The platter is from my grandmother's china. I treasure this picture of my oldest brother. And the other two items are from Ikea and Home Goods.  One of my favorite things to do is mix treasures with current items for a collected look.

So that's it for today.  Whether I feel better or not, I'll have a card for you tomorrow since it's already done.  Please forgive me for this one.....or just celebrate that we all have struggles.  Either way!
