Color Throwdown #397 - Happy Birthday - Retro Style
Hello Friday Friends!
Today is a really special day for me because thirty-five years ago today I became a mom. My son Scott is celebrating today and I am celebrating right along with him. What a ride it's been to be his mom. He is smarter than I am (although I am wiser) and he has always challenged me to think deeply because that's where his thinking starts. Not so much mine.
Scott is also the funniest person I know - even when he's not trying. Although most of the time, I think he is trying (and succeeding). I am pretty sure we have some long running private jokes that will probably keep running for a while still.
Scott has a kind heart, a quick wit and the boy just plain owns my heart. Always has and always will. Thank you for making me a mom. It's an honor to be yours.
Enough of this - it makes me tear up. So I'll just tell you that I am sharing this card at The Color Throwdown challenge today and I encourage you to enjoy this graphic and get creative too:
See you tomorrow!
