Happy Monday!
I thought it would be fun to play along with PaperTrey Ink's Make It Monday Challenge today.
The challenge is to make a pie chart using scraps. So off I went. I used some coordinating papers to make my pie chart and then cut out a star from the resulting circle. To make my original shape I used this die to create my pattern. It is called Hello Sunshine. To finish up my star, I matted it in red and added a coordinating die cut button (also from PaperTrey Ink).
I hope you like my card today. I just love the quilted look of the star. I had so much fun using this new (to me) technique! And there is plenty of time to play along, so check out the site and then get to creating!
See you tomorrow.
Susie

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. I really like your colors. I'm curious whether or not you used two star dies, or just cut around your first star. Great creative card.
