I wanted to show you a project I created this past Christmas. I made four of them for various family members. This is the one I chose for my daughter.
The base is a block of wood which I pretty much covered with a scrapbook layout. I like to use Multi Medium when doing projects like this as it is a super great adhesive.
I used a two ring binder as the mechanism to hold the recipes or pictures. Thanks to my handy dandy personal drill and some small screws, attaching the mechanism was a cinch.
The final embellishment was the tulle bow and antique button on the top.
I didn't take pictures of the other three even all three were very different. But at least you get the idea if you would like to make one.
I'll see you tomorrow with another brand new project!
