Good morning Tuesday!
We are coming right along with the renovations on The Little House. Carpet installed, Apple TV installed, and all utilities up and running. Blinds are next and then some furniture!!
All of this makes me think we need to go on a vacation!!!! And here is the perfect send off card.
I used the new PaperTrey Ink Cover Plate Hexagon Die for the background. I cut it out of white paper first and then a bunch of coordinating patterned papers.
I took out all the white hexagons and began filling in with the patterned papers. I just LOVE this look. And it is so textured! One little hint if you try this - completely cover a piece of paper with adhesive and then apply your open grid and then fill in with the patterned papers. Easy Peasy!
I added red seam binding, a cut out from a piece of the patterned paper, and some grey pearls to finish this off. I hope you like it too and will try this technique.
I'll be back tomorrow. Almost time to tell you my secret.
See you soon!
Susie
