It's the last Saturday in May, and that means the Stampendous team is wrapping up our May monthly challenge. This month we have been challenging ourselves (and you) to make a gift set, a gift card holder or a gift.
Here is what I made for you today:
Here is what I made for you today:
Stampendous Cling Pat A Cake CRW074-R
Graphic 45 Little Darlings Collection
Ranger Distress Ink
Spellbinders dies
Misc: Chipboard, Black cardstock, Ribbon, Bling, Vintage wall plaque,
Vintage sheet music
I stamped the Pat A Cake image in black on white cardstock and lightly worked around the edges with Distress Ink. I left the center areas much lighter. Next I die cut the image and mat and also cut two additional ovals from chipboard and then layered everything to form my focal image.
I covered the front of the wooden plaque with vintage sheet music and created a small border at the top with Graphic 45 papers. After distressing the edges, I added a line of bling along the top. Finally I adhered everything including the bow and a bit of bling in the center of it.
Now I am ready for the next baby gift giving occasion. I hope you will be inspired to make something for our challenge this week.
And be sure to check out what my teammates have created for the challenge today!
And we want YOU to play along with us! Simply make a gift, a gift set, or a gift card holder of some sort and add the direct link for your project to our collection at the end of this post (or on the Stampendous blog) no later than Thursday, May 31 at 11:59 PM EST.
We hope you have a chance to play along with us (you can enter as many times as you'd like!) Happy Crafting!
Take care and I'll see you tomorrow.
Susie

ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteI was just looking in the baby nursery at the hospital at all of the sweet little babies. Your plaque captures that special mom, new baby bond. What a perfect gift! I really like how you inked the image.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty Susie!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! And to think, you have that big ol' splint on your finger to boot! Kudos!
