It's a Party - Joys Life Blog Hop

Oh Happy Saturday!

And this one is a fun one because we are blog hopping today with the designers from Joy's Life Stamps.

I decided that I would do a tea party and make a fun tea cup table favor.

I used an older Sizzix die to make the tea cup.  Once assembled, I added the butterflies which I had purchased at Michaels a while back.  The colors were perfect for the double sided paper.  To make the faux flowers in the cup, I crumpled tissue paper and then sprayed it with Maya Mist.  It was messy....but it worked.

The final task was to make the little label that hangs for the cup handle.  I used Friends Make Life Sweet from the Yummy Puns Stamp Set which you can find right here.  

I loved making this little party favor.  And if I had to make a dozen of them, I think they would go together quickly.  I would just use an assembly line method to make them.

    Wow, that is so bright and pretty. I love the orange. It goes so well with the paper you used for the gift box tea cup. Then, stuffing it with tissue paper. So nice! Great gift! I'm a follower. :)
