Some More Peeks into my Studio

Happy Friday!!

I promised you last week that I would give you some more little peeks into my scrapbooking studio.  Last week I showed you the wire grid above my counter-top area. I like to keep my most-used tools right in front of me.  And before that, I showed you my storage closet (in progress). My closet is for my less used, sometimes bulky supplies.  I also use it for my design team products that I need to keep separated.

Today I want you to see where I stand up to scrapbook.  The flooring in this area is laminate - easy clean up.  The cabinets are from a big box store.  I had them painted white which matches the trim in the room.  The wall behind is bead board which mimics another area in the room.  Randall installed the counter-top and cabinets for me a few months ago.  Now remember, I live in a scrapbook retreat...so my studio has to do double duty.  Five lovely ladies sleep in this room every weekend.

I keep my tool spinner, paper trimmer, Distress Inks, Stickles, craft mat and cutting mat out all the time.  I also have a few pretties that sit out - just to make me smile.

The paper rack in the cutout area houses my 12x12 patterned paper.  Somehow, I have always managed to keep my stash in this one rolling cart.  Amazing!

I've taken pictures of four of my most important drawers.  Top left is the drawer to my left when I scrapbook.  It holds tools and supplies I use often.  Next to that picture is my right hand drawer.  It houses my Scor Pal.  I just slide open the drawer when I need to score something.  I also tend to throw dies and stamps in this drawer that I either need to use or need to put away.

On the bottom row - the first picture is the drawer into which I scoop scraps when I finish a project.  I go through the drawer every two weeks and decide if I will use the scraps again.  If so, they stay in the drawer.  If not, they go into a donate pile that goes away monthly.

Finally is a drawer that houses my most used punches.  These are mostly basic shapes.  Right below that drawer is one filled with Martha Stewart border punches.  I really like to use those too.

So there is a little look into my studio for today.  Next week I am going to show you another area - one that was already built into the room when we bought the house.  I have taken it over for paper, embellishments and dies.  Can't wait to show you.
