Happy Monday!
I am on my way to the museum with our littlest grandson. But before I go I wanted to share this layout with a picture of our beautiful granddaughter, Izzy.
This picture was taken last year...she is even more beautiful now at the age of five. So when I saw this paper line from My Mind's Eye, I knew I would use it on a layout about our Izzy.
I wanted to keep the focus on her, but still have the layout appear a bit fussy and feminine. I cut four rows of scallops using a die from MFT Stamps. Then I pulled out some more of their dies to make felt flowers.
The rest of the embellishments are part of the paper line and are premade. I love mixing handmade and premade.
This layout came together very quickly for me. I think the papers just inspire me!
When I finished this, I used some scraps to make a card. Please come back tomorrow and I'll show it to you.
See you soon.
Susie
This is a beautiful layout, Susie! Your granddaughter is gorgeous and you did a super job of keeping the focus on her sweet little face. Hugs, Beverly
