Good morning Tuesday friends.
I am working on the Tim Holtz Twelve Days of Christmas Tags again this year. This makes five years for me! That's 60 tags!!!! I have them displayed in shadow boxes and as a collection, they just look beautiful.
Well, day three arrived and I just didn't like Tim's tag - at least for my collection. So I went off script and just created my very own. I wish you could see this tag in person. I sprayed it with Heirloom Gold Glimmer Mist and it just glistens.
I did use lots of Tim's techniques to create this tag. After four years of techniques, I know 'em all!!! What I love about the way he creates and teaches us to create is that we work in layers. There are probably 8-10 layers on this tag which is what gives it depth.
And of course if I am designing something, there will be dies. The flowers (with those cute jingle bells in the center) are cut from the Rolled Gardenia die from MFT Stamps.
In case you are worried, I stayed right on script for the next day's tag. Whew! I wasn't a rebel two days in a row.
Tomorrow I will be back with a super fun 3D project I made for Joy's Life Stamps. Please come back to check it out.
Susie
