Happy Monday to you.
Do you ever need a gift tag and it's just about time to leave for the party? That happens to me all the time. So after I spend oodles of time making something lovely as a gift, my packaging and gift card or tag fall short.
So I decided to make a few tags ahead of time so I can avoid this problem.
I just starting stacking some scraps together and when I had the grouping I wanted, I cut them into the shape of a tag. I could have die cut the tag, but this time, I just cut it without the die.
I stamped the little dress on white cardstock and then again on the green dotted paper. I have a die that cuts out the dress, but I hand cut it this time. I wanted the stamped ruffle to show, so I just cut the dotted dress off above the ruffle.
The cute frame is actually a new die from MFT Stamps. It is called the Vintage Cameo Frame and you can see it here. There is also a coordinating stamp set, but I only own the die itself.
So here is one of one in my collection of tags. I am planning to make more and stash them... 'cause I'll need them and I'll be glad I worked ahead one of these days.
Tomorrow I'll be back with a new Cardabilities challenge. I hope I'll see you then.
