I got such a nice surprise when I opened my last order from MFT Stamps. THIS image was in there as a gift. I colored it up right away using my Copic markers and also added some glitter pen to that pink bow on the teddy bear.
I wanted to try something a little different for my card front. I had in mind a frame and this is what I came up with. I used a Spellbinders Scalloped Rectangle die to cut out the inside of the frame. Then I used my craft knife to make the rest of the frame. I trimmed each side to about 3/4".
I could have used pop dots to lift the frame up, but I needed to feed my chipboard addiction anyway.....so I cut out two frames from chipboard just like the decorative one. Stack, stack, stack and then I had a dimensional frame.
But the frame didn't look great against my background, so out came just a really small brown mat to go behind the frame.
VOILA. Perfection.
White seam binding bow and I called it done.
Tomorrow I have another project to share with you. I hope I'll see you then.
