Back to work for me. Why must the weekends be so short?
I was able to get some crafting time in. I taught a class at our local scrapbook store and then made a few cards the next day. I just don't like missing a single day of craft time!
This card came together very quickly. The paper is from My Mind's Eye and is from a pack called Rosy. I knew I wanted to use the new branch die from MFT Stamps, so when I saw this piece of paper with the little bird already in the corner....my mind started twirling.
I cut the branch from cardstock and then ran it through an embossing folder. I cut the leaves from felt using the same die set.
I stamped the birdcage on a scrap of paper and then cut it out. The stamp set is called Aviary and is on page 83 of the current Stampin Up catalog. I made a tiny hole in the top of the birdcage so I could hang it from the branch. Then I stamped the sentiment from PaperTrey Ink and added some Stickles to the birdcage.
Fast and easy - but super cute I think.
Tomorrow I will be back with a product review.
I hope to see you then.
