A recurring theme for me seems to be that I am always cleaning up or reorganizing my studio. I guess daily crafting just makes a mess!
Not too long ago while cleaning up, I came upon these scraps and put them aside because although they did not all come from the same project, the colors looked so calming to me. I knew I was going to try to use them all on one card.
So I snipped them into various sized rectangles and started layering them. I rarely mat with white, but now I wonder why. I love the look.
Once I had all of my layers down, I needed a focal image. I had just put away a page of chipboard punch outs from Crate Paper, so I got them back out and decided on these two images.
Then of course I needed a die. So I pulled out my Rolled Flower die and some felt.
This card took about twenty minutes to make. That's record time for me. So now I have fewer scraps and a card I would be proud to send to one of my crafty friends.
And I will be back tomorrow with something new to show you.
See you then.
