Running the Race
Isn't this an adorable digital image? Or it is just me? I think the socks and tennis shoes are just so cute!! The digital image is from JW Illustrations. Adding the skirt just seemed like a fun idea. Turned out that I love it!
I like to stamp with real stamps - but I am also finding that I enjoy the digital stamps as well. One benefit I especially like is that the stamps can be sized and grouped easily.
I decided to do an inspirational wall hanging with this image. The background paper is from The Girls' Paperie and the dies I used for the focal image and the mat are from Spellbinders. I added the felt flower using the Rolled Rose Die from MFT stamps.
“Run with endurance the race that God has set before you” is from the Bible - Hebrews 12:1. It is a good reminder for me so I thought I would add it to this art piece. A friend said to me today, "Those are some pretty big tennies". I told her some races are bigger than others. So when I look at this, I think maybe I am running a bigger race than I knew....yes, I think I am. But God and I are working it out. Mostly Him.
I will be back tomorrow to share a cupcake topper project I am working on.
Hope to see you then.
