Welcome to Saturday!
I've been wanting to make another tag for my new tag chandelier system. I decided to make one that was quite a bit different from the others.
I started with an image from a Melody Ross paper pack. I cut the mom out and set her aside while I piled on layer after layer of scraps that were on my work table. I really didn't pay attention to what the scraps looked like because once they are layered, they always seem to work out just right.
After I "applied" the mom, I used an MFT Stamps border die to cut the bottom of the tag. The tag was pretty thick, so I ended up having to use my knife to cut through a few layers. But you can't tell, and I know I won't.
The pink felt flower is one of the newest MFT Stamps dies. It is super easy to use because you just roll it up and a flower appears. Voila!
The rest of the tag is adorned with brads and flowers and ribbons from my stash. It is sort of a hodgepodge of a tag - but I am pleased with it. I think the Stickled edging was the perfect final detail.
Here are the dies I used to make this tag. You can click on each link to see them on line.

See you back here tomorrow.
