A few weeks ago I showed you some fun cupcake toppers I was making for one of my daughter's friends.
Last night I finished them up, but couldn't bear to just put those in the little sack and not add a surprise for her.
So I used my PaperTrey Ink Banner dies and made a VERY quick banner for the shower. I was able to put this together in less than an hour. It isn't fancy, but the colors are so great that I think it LOOKS fancy.
I cut three large banners from chipboard, pink cardstock and black dotted patterned paper. I covered the front and back of the chipboard to make the bases. The next step was to put a striped border on top of the three smaller banners I had also cut from patterned paper. Then I centered the smaller banner pieces onto the larger banner pieces. At this point I was almost done. I made three rosettes from the Rosette die, attached the clipart circles, the ribbon and pearls and I WAS done!
I hope she likes her little surprise. I think gifts not expected are the best. Don't you?
Tomorrow I will be back to show you a new storage idea.
See you then.
Susie
