Mmm Mmm Watermelon

Is this little Lori Boyd image the cutest?  Yes, I believe it is.  I love this little watermelon girlie.

I paper pieced her dress, but then colored in the dots with a deep red Copic marker.  I wanted the watermelon to have a water colored look, so I used just a bit of Prawn Copic on the tip of my colorless blender. It took a bit, but I got the look I wanted.

I used three dies on this card.  I've shown you the ones I used for the focal image and mat before.  It is from Lifestyle Crafts and you can find it here.  The other die is from Spellbinders.  It is from the Fancy Tags 3 set.  There is much more to this die than you can actually see here.  I cut it in half and just used the very tip of each end on either side of the framed image.
