Cupcake Toppers

One of my absolute favorite things to do is help someone.  So when my daughter's friend asked me if I would make some cupcake toppers for a shower she is throwing, I jumped right in.

She purchased clip art on Etsy and brought me some lovely cardstock with these three printed images.  Her only request was that they end of being 3-D.

Oh yeah - I can do that! 

I punched out the clip art with a 2" circle punch.  Then I used Spellbinders dies for the circle mat and the scalloped mat for each.  I wanted both sides to look nice, so I repeated the circle mat and clip art on the back of them.

To make them come to life, I also punched two chipboard circles the same size as the clip art.

So this is how it all went together from front to back:

I could call it done at this point, but I think I am going to add a gem to each one.  OK - three done, twenty-one to go.
