Hello Friends,
Today I want to show you sort of a whimsical card. I doubt anyone would plant grass or flowers in their back pocket....but that is how this card ended up!
I stamped flowers on the card and then used a lighter color Copic marker and just scribbled inside the lines. I didn't do any shading or even fill in the petals completely. I did add some Stickles and brads.
Then I die cut the pocket and adhered it to the card base on three sides. I wanted to leave the top open and insert some shredded paper to look like grass. The big brad was sitting out on my work table. Very fortunate I think!
Do you see the tag on the right side of the pocket? I think that tag just makes the image complete. I love it ! It is also part of the pocket die. TOO CUTE !
This die comes as part of a set. See the stitching? The pocket die and stamp set is from MFT Stamps. Here is a picture from the website:
There are so many possibilities with this set. I plan to use it plenty of times, so I will show you what else I figure out to do with it!
I will be back tomorrow and will show you my entry for this week's Summer Card Camp color challenge.
Until then,
Susie
