Take a Stand!

So what am I showing you today?  I am showing you the back of tomorrow's project.  Weird, I know.  

Well, not really.  What I wanted you to see is the stand on the back of the tag.  Believe it or not, it is made from a die.  It is made by Sizzix and even though it isn't very PRETTY, I think it is super.  If you need to display anything - this is one handy die!

I cut it from a sturdy piece of chipboard (really it was book board), but it was too thick.  It cut just fine, but it was so thick that the scorelines also cut through.  So I went down to a medium weight chipboard and it worked beautifully.

I think I will use this die all of the time.  It is the perfect size for cards and some of the wall art pieces I like to make as well. I purchased mine this past weekend at the Great American Scrapbook Convention. .  You can purchase yours here at Amazon.
