Really Really REALLY 3-D

Yesterday I gave you a peak into a 3-D project, but today we are taking 3-D to the MAX.  Dies don't have to just adorn cards or scrapbook pages.  Nope.  Home decor items can use some help from your dies too.  I am involved in a cigar box swap, and the time is drawing close, so I thought I would get the project finished and show you how I used my dies today.

After I covered my cigar box with some pretty papers, I started gathering this and that to make the arrangement on the top.  I knew I would use some purchased flowers too - but for sure I wanted to use my dies to make flowers for it as well.  You see, I am swapping cigar boxes with another scrapbooker.  So I HAD to be creative.  My reputation is on the line.

You have seen me use the rolled flower die before.  This time I added a sweet little pearl to the center.  The large green flower is made with a large scalloped circle die and the other pink felt flower is made with a PaperTrey Ink die.

I also used my Tim Holtz Paper Rosette Die to make the large blue rosette.  I can't lie - I love that rosette die!

So I am done with this project - but all of a sudden I am inspired to do something else 3-D.  Come on back tomorrow.  I'll show you what I have in mind.
