A few weeks ago, I was browsing the web and discovered an article called, "Remix Your Tools: Using the Papertrey Ink Banner Builder Die Set" by Melissa Stinson. Here is a link to the article which was on the Scrapbook Update site. ScrapbookUpdate.com is a fantastic site run by Nancy Nally who is a gifted writer and awesome scrapbooker. Check out her site if you get a chance.
Now for today's project:
Today's is Mr. Moore's 55th birthday, so a card was in order. I remembered the article I'd read about using dies in a new way - so I thought I would give it a try. And I LIKE IT !
The paper is from the Life of the Party collection by Basic Grey. It didn't take long to die cut the number of banners I needed. I just lined them up and called it wonderful. Here is a link to the banner set - you probably need one.
The rosette is from the same paper collection. I used the Tim Holtz Paper Rosette Die. Yup - I like that die. For a while everything I made had a rosette on it!
So happy birthday, Mr. Moore. Love you loads.
Susie
