I wanted to jump right in with a card project. This one went to a sweet friend of mine who loves to sew and create. You can click on the image to get a closer look.
The stamped image is from Gina K Designs. I stamped it using Versamark ink and covered it with antique gold Perfect Pearls. I also used this technique around the edges of the scalloped oval so the colors would match perfectly.
I cut out the shape using a Spellbinders oval die. Then I cut out a coordinating scalloped oval to go under it.
The final die is the Mini Rolled Rose die from MFT Stamps.
The paper is a vintage set from Stampin Up. I rolled the blue piece through my Big Shot Express with a new Tim Holtz Alterations Texture Fades Folder.
The bow is made from gold Hug Snug and the little flower and brad are both just out of my stash o' stuff. I did manage to add just a touch of Platinum Stickles to the flower. What's a card without a little glitter?
This card is very basic as far as design is concerned. The dies just make everything so clean and of course so much quicker than cutting out images by hand!
I hope you've enjoyed this peak at my new website. See you back here soon.

Susie, this is darling!! And, you're right, all of those dies would make it go so quickly.
ReplyDeleteI love it!
And, how have you been?? I think of you so often. Are you going to Paper Cowgirl this year?
