The main part of the banner was cut with the large banner dies from Papertrey Ink. The set is called The Boxy Banners Set. The rosettes are cut from a Tim Holtz die. Of course I used a classic circle and a classic pinked circle from Spellbinders and some border dies from MFT Stamps. The tiny banner that spells WHO is also from Paper Trey Ink. Oh - and that #2 ? Also from Paper Trey Ink. An entire set of numbers!!!
The papers are from a K&Company Sweet Nectar Designer Mat Pad purchased at Michaels. The letters are American Crafts Thickers. The jewels, doodads, and ribbons are from my abundant and overflowing stash o' stuff.
One secret I've discovered with banners is to use some chipboard behind the smaller inside banner and then cover the back with the larger outside banner. That way the back is as pretty as the front. Then layer, layer and layer some more. The more stuff you add, the better the banner. Yup, that's my theory.
So here is a close up of each page. I hope you've enjoyed my journey into the pink side. And I hope I've inspired you to get those dies out and get to cutting.
Susie
