Have a Wonderful Day - and a contest

Today's project is a quick little card using four different dies.  Here are links to all of them:

Take Three from PaperTrey Ink
Flower Fusion #1 from PaperTrey Ink
Flower Fusion #3 from PaperTrey Ink
Die-Namics Jumbo Scallop Die from MFT Stamps

I started by adhering all of the patterned papers (all from Gina K. Designs)  to my card base which is 4.25 x 5.5. I used the Take Three die and cut the three windows in the top portion of the card.

I die cut the three little flowers and attached them to the cut out pieces using brads and then  adhered them behind the windows.  Easy peasy!

The final step was to add the scalloped border which is also cut from felt.  The felt I used was from PaperTrey Ink.  It is 100% wool felt and die cuts really well.

Once the sentiment was stamped, it was ready to go into the mailbox.  Done !

Now for that stand....do you like?  It is super easy to make.  I got the idea from my fab-friend Lisa Pace.   And she has a tutorial on her site - check out her post here for all the details on how to get the tutorial.  And look for some Lisa-inspired projects right here next week.

And for my precious readers - leave a comment here on this post for your chance to win a stand like mine - in your choice of colors.  I will announce the winner on Tuesday May 24th.

  3. Has anyone ever told you you're an enabler? This makes me want to add even more dies to my wish list. Have seen the floral frog used before to showcase cards, but never on anything as fancy and gorgeous as your stand. Been keeping my eyes open for the best way to photograph my cards rather than scan them. Love this and appreciate the chance to win one ~ thanks, Susie!
