Got Dies? This is How I Store Mine

I have gone through many storage systems over the years for all of my scrapbooking items.  I find that systems evolve based on need more than anything.  Sometimes the latest and greatest doesn't meet the need.  Sometimes it does.

Right now I am really happy with my present system of die storage.  It is NOT a new system, but it works for me. It is the QuicKutz Magnetic Storage Book. Here is a picture:



When closed it measures approximately 8x10 and is less than half an inch thick. The spine can accommodate a thin label.

Here is what it looks like when opened and filled with dies:

It provides about 15" of storage space.  The picture above shows all of my tag dies.  I have a separate book for each type of die I have.

Here is the one that houses my fashion doll dies:

All of my books are lined up in the die cutting area of my studio.  I am able to pull out the book I need and easily replace each die as I finish with it.  This is what makes it a good system for me.  I like to be able to find what I need quickly and then put it right back.

I found a few of these books at a local Hobby Lobby.  They were $12.99 each, but I was able to use a 40% coupon which made them a much better price.

Another great resource is Scrapbook.com.  Their current price is $12.34 each.  Often they offer coupons too.
