If you are just starting to collect dies, you may want to begin with the basics. Get some round and oval dies as your first investment and just build from there.
The dies on this card are basic ones. First the image is cut and embossed with a Spellbinders oval die and then matted with a scalloped oval die.
I've given you this tip before - but here goes again: When you have just one large image, cut it out using a Spellbinders die, and then right away emboss it using the same die. Leave it in the die and then go around the edges with either chalk or ink. When you remove your embossed image, you have a nice frame around it.

The technique used to create the dress form is called Embossed Marble and I saw it here for the first time on the Stamp TV website. I love using this technique and I think you will too.
I added some bling and called it complete.
